Fit-outs and refits
Electrical work for new tenancies and existing premises, including lighting, power points, dedicated equipment circuits, sub-boards, data cabling and electrical supplies for signage. We work with your builder, shopfitter or designer and help identify electrical requirements before layouts are finalised.
Cafes and food businesses
We assess electrical supplies for coffee machines, ovens, fryers, dishwashers, refrigeration and other equipment. Appliance specifications, existing circuits and available supply capacity help determine what work is needed before equipment is connected. We handle the electrical installation and supply work within the agreed scope. Internal appliance or refrigeration system repairs may require a specialist technician.
Offices
Power and data points for workstations, printers and IP phones, lighting upgrades, communications cabinets and patch panels. Electrical work and customer cabling can be coordinated through one contractor, with equipment setup and IT configuration agreed separately.
Retail premises
General, display and feature lighting, power and data for point-of-sale equipment, additional circuits and electrical connections for signage. We consider the layout, maintenance access and how work can be staged around trading.
Maintenance and repairs

- Clear written scope: fit-out and planned work quotes identify the agreed electrical work, fittings and inclusions, and changes are discussed before proceeding.
- Coordination with other trades: we confirm layouts, access and installation stages with your builder, shopfitter or other contractors.
- Planned shutdowns: we discuss affected circuits, equipment and proposed timing so you can prepare for interruptions, and after-hours work may be arranged where available.
- Ongoing support: repairs, additions and maintenance can be arranged as your business changes.
After installation, we test the new and altered electrical work, update circuit labelling as required and provide the relevant electrical safety certification and applicable cabling documentation.
Equipment additions and supply capacity
Installing a new oven, coffee machine, cool room or other equipment? Contact us before purchasing or connecting it. Send the equipment specifications, including the electrical rating and supply requirements, so we can assess the proposed installation. A dedicated circuit, sub-board or switchboard upgrade may be needed, but an extra enclosure alone does not increase the capacity of the incoming supply. Where supply or metering changes are required, we explain the additional coordination needed with your retailer or electricity distributor. Repeated tripping does not automatically mean the supply is too small, because faulty equipment, damaged wiring or another issue may be responsible. Commercial electrical costs
Fit-outs and planned installations are quoted against the agreed scope, plans, equipment requirements and site conditions. Costs can include new circuits, switchboard or supply work, access equipment, cabling, fittings and the staging needed around your business. Fault finding is generally charged for investigation time because the cause and repair scope may not be known at the start. We explain applicable call-out and labour charges before arranging attendance, then discuss further repairs or parts before proceeding. Do you do small commercial jobs?
Yes. We handle individual lighting and power repairs, additional points and small alterations, as well as larger fit-outs and upgrades. Tell us what you need so we can arrange the appropriate visit.
Can you work outside trading hours?
Where available, we can arrange work outside your normal trading hours or stage the job to suit access and shutdown requirements. Confirm the timing and any additional charges with Lior before booking.
Can you work with our builder or shopfitter?
Yes. Send the proposed plans, equipment schedule and project timeframe. We coordinate the electrical stages with the other trades and flag information needed before work starts.
Do you handle power and data cabling?
Yes. Lior is both a licensed electrician and a registered cabler. We can coordinate the agreed electrical and data cabling work. Network equipment supply, configuration and IT support are separate scope items where required.
Can you fix a commercial appliance that keeps tripping?
We can investigate whether the fault involves the circuit, supply or connected equipment. Internal appliance repairs or refrigeration work may need a specialist service technician. We explain the findings and the next step.
Do you offer urgent or after-hours attendance?
